As per latest development the rebel leader Eknath Shinde has reached the critical leader number of MLA’s 37 that is required to split the party in the assembly without facing action under the anti-defection law and his total strength is 43 now.
In his recent tweet, Shinde clearly expressed strong objection to Shiv Sena over its alliance with Indian National Congress and NCP and refused to compromise on BalaSaheb Thackeray’s Hindutva ideology.
He called the Sena’s alliance with Congress unnatural and said that only these partner parties are getting benefit from Maha Vikas Agadi (MVA) government. He further said that while the allies of the party are becoming stronger, Shiv Sena party and Shiva Sainik are systematically weakened and are being crushed.

Uddhav Thackeray Early Life
Uddhav Thackeray was born to the founder of Shiv Sena, Bal Keshav Thackeray and wife Meena Thackeray. He is the youngest of three children of the Sena founder. Uddhav completed his school education from Balmohan Vidyamandir and graduated from Sir J.J. Institute of Applied Arts with Photography as his main subject.

How the political career Started?
Uddhav started his career as the campaign incharge of Shiv Sena in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections where the party performed really well. Later in 2003, he was appointed a s the working president of Shiv Sena.
In 2006, Uddhav took over as the chief editor of Saamana, the party’s mouthpiece and a daily Marathi- language newspaper, which was launched by Sena founder and Uddhav’s father Bal Thackeray in 1988. Uddhav resigned from the post of chief editor in 2019 before becoming the chief minister of Maharashtra.
A political crisis hit the party a way back in 2006 and a split happen in Shiv Sena when Uddhav’s cousin Raj Thackeray, who was often called as the heir of his uncle Balasaheb, left the party, as Balasaheb give preference to his son Uddhav over him. Raj later founded his own party named Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNC).
Uddhav Thackeray’s resignation from CM Post
Uddhav Thackeray announced his resignation as Maharashtra’s chief minister on June 29, 2022. Uddhav Thackeray made his remarks shortly after the Supreme Court rejected the MVA government’s bid for a delay on the floor test in the Maharashtra Assembly.
Minutes after the Supreme Court ordered a floor test to prove his majority in the state parliament, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray announced his resignation through Facebook Live. He declared his intention to leave the Legislative Assembly.
When Uddhav Thackeray made his decision public through a live video, he praised Congress president Sonia Gandhi and NCP leader Sharad Pawar for their support.
He continued by saying that in a democracy, heads are counted in order to display numbers. He is uninterested in it. Additionally, he has no desire to play these games. The son of Shiv Sena leader Balasaheb Thackeray would later be said to have been overthrown by the opposition.
