NDA 1 2024 Vacancy

NDA 1 Selection Process
The NDA selection process is broadly divided into two stages, i.e., written tests and SSB interview rounds followed by a detailed medical examination. The NDA Selection Process 2024 stages are provided below.

NDA Witten Exam
The first phase of the NDA exam is the written test. This NDA paper will consist of two sections: mathematics and general ability tests, for 900 marks. The questions will be objective. Candidates will have to score minimum qualifying marks to clear this phase.
NDA SSB Interview
The SSB interview round is a 5-day event where recruiters assess the overall personality of candidates through various physical and mental tasks.
The NDA SSB interview includes picture perception and description tests, psychology tests, group testing officers’ tasks, interviews, and conference rounds.

NDA 1 2024 Exam Pattern
The NDA Exam Pattern comprises two sections: mathematics and general ability tests. As per the NDA exam pattern, the mathematics section consists of 300 marks, while the general ability paper consists of 600 marks. The duration of NDA 2024 papers 1 and 2 is 150 minutes. The mode of the NDA exam is offline.
There will be a negative marking scheme in the UPSC NDA written test. For every wrong answer, a 1/3 mark will be deducted.

NDA GAT Syllabus
The NDA General Ability Test syllabus carries questions from two major sections: English and General Knowledge. The NDA English syllabus consists of topics such as vocabulary, comprehension, reading abilities, and grammar.

NDA 1 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must review the NDA eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. The NDA 1 eligibility criteria carry various requirements that every candidate must meet, such as physical measurements, visual standards, educational qualifications, age limit, and nationality.

NDA 1 Education Qualification 2024
As per NDA qualification, candidates who have passed the 12th grade or are appearing for the final 12th-grade board exam are eligible for the Army wing of the National Defence Academy.
Candidates who wish to join the Naval Academy, Navy, and Air Force wings of the National Defence Academy should pass 12th grade with physics, chemistry, and mathematics as major subjects.
NDA Age Limit 2024
The age limit for NDA is between 16.5 and 19.5 years. Candidates should not have been born earlier than July 2, 2004, or later than July 1, 2007. Note that only unmarried male or female candidates are eligible to apply for the NDA 1 2024 exam.
NDA 1 Application Form 2024 (Out)
Candidates are required to fill out the NDA application form through the official website of the UPSC using the given steps.
- Visit the official website of the UPSC at upsc.gov.in.
- On the homepage, click on the tab “OTR (One-Time Registration)” if you are not registered.
- OTR can be completed by filling in general details such as name, father’s name, date of birth, mother’s name, mobile number, and email ID.
- Candidates will get the login credentials for their registered mobile number and email ID.
- Log in with a user ID and password.
- Find and click on the notification for the ‘NDA Exam’ link.
- The link will redirect the candidates to the application form.
- Fill out all the mandatory fields and upload a photograph, educational documents, signature, and identity card.
- Choose the preferred exam centre.
- Pay the NDA application fee and click on the ‘Submit’
- Candidates will receive a final confirmation message on their registered mobile number and mail ID.
- Print out at least 2–3 copies for further reference.

The UPSC released the NDA Result 2024 for the written exam in May 2024 (3rd week) on its website. The roll numbers of the shortlisted candidates will appear on the NDA Result PDF.
